PENGELOLAAN POTENSI PENYERAPAN KARBON DALAM BENTUK BIOMASSA PADA EKOSISTEM MANGGROVE DI KUALA LANGSA-ACEH

Abstract


The potential of mangrove ecosystems can be in the form of providers of economic resources, protecting the ecological environment and providing environmental services. Therefore, the presence of mangroves in Kuala Langsa is important to study regarding economic potential, carbon sequestration potential in the form of biomass, coastal tourism potential and social potential of the community in supporting its development efforts. The results of the study obtained the potential for carbon sequestration in the form of biomass of 101,275 tons / year, with the economic value of carbon trading of Rp. 7,089,250,000 / year, economic potential Managing these potentials requires a conservation strategy, improvement of the performance of adat institutions and the existence of a management institution as it is currently which must be continuously strengthened..
