The waters of Pasir
Mayang Beach are influenced by inputs from rivers and the
activities of coastal communities, which in turn affect the water
quality and aquatic organisms. The purpose of this study was to
determine the condition of water quality using seawater quality
standards and map them spatially. Water quality parameters
surveyed included temperature, salinity, pH, oxygen level and
brightness which were measured at 17 survey locations. The
survey method used was direct data measurement and the data
was grouped into tabular form using Ms. Excel 2010 and the
results were compared and matched with seawater quality
standards stipulated by the Minister of Environment Regulation
No. 51 of 2004. Spatial distribution was carried out using ArcGIS
10.4 software and interpolated using the inverse distance
weighting (IDW) method. Measurement and analysis results were
obtained for temperature parameters between 30-31.6 °C.
Salinity 11.3 to 21.7 ‰. pH 7.0-7.9;DO 2.1-3.6mg/L. Based on
the research results, the following conclusions can be drawn:
Some of the seawater quality of Pasir Mayang Beach still meets
the established quality standards, including temperature and pH,
so that it can be further classified according to its function.
However, there are several parameters that do not meet quality
standards, namely: Salinity, DO and Clarity. For theeDO
parameter, thereeareeseverallresearchhstationssthat are still
within or below the quality standard.2023-10-02T07:41:32SE Asia Daylight TimeCopyright (c) 2023 Robin Saputrahttp://jurnal.utu.ac.id/JLIK/article/view/5897Identifikasi Jenis – Jenis Bakteri Pada Lobster Pasir (Panulirus homarus) yang Dilalulintaskan di Stasiun Karantina Ikan Pengendalian Mutu Dan Keamanan Hasil Perikanan Aceh2024-01-19T14:28:59SE Asia Standard TimeRosmalina Rosmalinarosma0128@gmail.comSamsul Bahrisamsulbahri@utu.ac.idWihdatul Adiyarosma0128@gmail.com
This study aims to determine the growth pattern of red snapper landed by fishermen at PPI Lhok Bengkuang. In order to know the growth pattern of L. timoriensis through the long-weight relationship of the fish from the growth aspect of the fish's weight and length. The research was conducted in October–November 2022 at PPI Lhok Bengkuang, South Aceh District. The research method was proportional random sampling and then the data were analyzed using linear regression. The number of individual samples whose growth patterns were analyzed was 30 individuals with the type of species L. timoriensis. Total body length ranges from 22.4 cm-30.3 cm and body weight ranges from 161 grams-455 grams. The results of the regression analysis on L. timoriensis individuals obtained a regression value (b) of 0.0989391 with a coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.7180290 which indicates that the weight gain is 72%. The value of b = 0.0989391 means that it is smaller than the normal b value, it is called a negative allometric growth pattern, that is, the length relationship is faster than the weight of the fish. On the growth pattern of L. timoriensis, it is necessary to carry out further research with a longer time and a larger number of samples to obtain more complete data and information.
2023-10-02T07:41:34SE Asia Daylight TimeCopyright (c) 2023 Nyak Ilahttp://jurnal.utu.ac.id/JLIK/article/view/8095Pengaruh Pemberian Pupuk NPK terhadap Pertumbuhan Bibit Mangrove pada Media Tanam Hydraquent di Yayasan Mangrove Institute Aceh Jaya2024-01-19T14:28:59SE Asia Standard TimePuja Kasmilapujakasmilaputri@icloud.comAsri Mursawalasrimursawal@utu.ac.id
The destruction of mangrove forests reduces forest area and mangrove plant species. The research was conducted on September 2022. The tools and materials used in this research were R. apiculata mangrove seeds, soil hydraquent, meter, tools, cutter, wood stake, refractometer, and thermometer. This research used a descriptive method in which it only took the average value of mangrove seedlings growth. There were four types of observations given to mangrove seedlings, namely T0 (no fertilizer), T1 (giving 3 gr of fertilizer), T2 (6 gr), T3 (9 gr) and T4 (12 gr). The waters around Merak Kecil Island are known for offering a beach and sea atmosphere. In addition, visitors can enjoy a number of facilities such as boat tours, fishing, snorkeling, and enjoying the sights of ships passing by. Related to this, it will have the potential to affect the environmental conditions of Merak Kecil Island, especially the fertility of the waters. The fertility of a waters is influenced by nutrients (nitrate, nitrite, phosphate). Nitrate, nitrite and phosphate act as limiting factors for the growth of organisms and water fertility. This study aims to determine the differences in content and the relationship between nitrate, nitrite and phosphate content and compared with Government Regulation no. 22 of 2021 and ANZECC & ARMCANZ (2000). The research method uses a descriptive method with a quantitative approach while the selection of sampling locations uses a purposive sampling method. Required environmental parameters were taken in situ and air samples were analyzed at the Fish and Environmental Health Testing Center (BPKIL) Serang, Banten. The results showed that there were less significant differences in the content of nitrate, nitrite, and phosphate. The nitrate content exceeded the quality standard, but nitrite and phosphate were not detected.
2023-12-06T03:30:14SE Asia Standard TimeCopyright (c) 2023 Dewi Firda Salsabilla, Agung Setyo Sasongko, Ferry Dwi Cahyadihttp://jurnal.utu.ac.id/JLIK/article/view/7655Molecular Identification of Wedgefishes Stingrays (Rynchobatus sp.) at PPI Rigaih, Aceh Jaya Regency by using COI Gene2024-01-19T14:28:59SE Asia Standard TimeWaldi Aminwaldiwaldiamin@gmail.comSamsul Bahrisamsulbahri@utu.ac.idDanie Al Malikwaldiwaldiamin@gmail.comNi Luh Astria Yusmalindawaldiwaldiamin@gmail.comEnex Yuniarti Ningsihwaldiwaldiamin@gmail.comNi Putu Dian Pertiwidian.pertiwi@undiksha.ac.idAndrianus Sembiringandsembiring@gmail.com2023-12-06T03:28:48SE Asia Standard TimeCopyright (c) 2023 Waldi Amin, Samsul Bahrihttp://jurnal.utu.ac.id/JLIK/article/view/8647Evaluasi Dua Metode Pengukuran Pertumbuhan Karang Bercabang Pocillopora verrucosa2024-01-19T14:28:59SE Asia Standard TimeMunandar Munandarmunandar@utu.ac.idFitria Rahmayantifitriarahmayanti@utu.ac.idRudi Hermirudihermi@utu.ac.idHeriansyah Heriansyahheriansyah@utu.ac.idSyahrul Ramadhanramadhanihamfata1422@gmail.com
Karang bercabang Pocillopora verrucosa merupakan salah satu organisme karang yang memiliki peran penting dalam ekosistem terumbu karang.
