Abstract


The development of oil palm plantations has been developed in several areas in Indonesia and has become a leading plantation crop. This is because oil palm is a plantation crop with a fairly high economic value and is one of the vegetable oil-producing plants. In addition, the development of oil palm plantations is also supported by various palm oil derivative products that have many uses. The smoothness of the production process is greatly influenced by the reliability and availability of the machines used. Machines that break down suddenly can disrupt the production plan that has been set. To overcome this, it is necessary to plan machine maintenance on a scheduled basis, to reduce sudden engine damage. This study aims to analyze the results of the ripple mill machine performance at the Palm Oil Mill Seed Processing Station and to analyze the factors that cause the ripple mill machine performance to be unfulfilled. This study used 1 size of oil palm seed with 4 replications for each treatment within 2 hours.
