ANALISA KEBUTUHAN STEAM DI STASIUN STERILIZER DENGAN SISTIM PEREBUSAN 90 MENIT DI PT.ASN (Agro Sinergi Nusantara)

Abstract


Increasing the performance of a machine in an industry engaged in palm oil processing is very meaningful in optimizing production activities to achieve good final results so as to increase industrial productivity. The process of boiling oil palm bunches is a very significant process that ensures the quality of palm oil produced in CPO processing. The use of saturated steam allows the formation of a hydrolysis/evaporation process of water in the fruit, if using dry steam it will cause the skin to burn, thus limiting evaporation of water in the fruit flesh and can also complicate the compression process. Therefore, controlling the quality of steam which is used as a source of boiling heat is very important in order to get perfect boiling results. From the above review, the author makes an analysis of the need for steam at the sterilizer station
