Peran Dinas Pendidikan Aceh Barat Dalam Meningkatkan Kualitas Pendidikan Sekolah Dasar (Studi Kasus SDN Lancong Kecamatan Sungai Mas Kabupaten Aceh Barat)

Abstract

Education is one of the most needed needs by humans to support adaptation to the times. It is appropriate that efforts to develop education become the joint task of every government agency in carrying out their duties. Problems with the education system in West Aceh, especially in remote areas, are still very concerned, problems such as the lack of human resources for teachers, lack of teaching staff, and inadequate school facilities and school infrastructure that is still far from good are problems that currently occur in West Aceh Regency. . This article discusses the role of the West Aceh education office in improving the quality of primary school education at SDN Lancong and the obstacles experienced by the education office in carrying out its programs. The indicators that become the focus of research are the development of teacher human resources, the provision of facilities and infrastructure, and curriculum development. The research method used is a qualitative method with primary and secondary data collection techniques. Primary through direct field observations conducted by researchers and conducting direct interviews with informants and taking documentation as additional material to strengthen the data obtained in the field. while secondary through e-library literature studies, documentation, data collection through websites and social media. The results of this study indicate that the West Aceh Education Office has demonstrated its performance by increasing teacher human resources, providing facilities and infrastructure and developing curriculum.
