Proses Komunikasi dalam Collaborative Governance : Pengelolaan Limbah Sawit PT Socfindo Nagan Raya

Abstract

This study aims to understand the collaborative governance process in managing palm oil industry waste at PT Socfindo Seumayam. The research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document studies. The data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions based on collaborative governance theory. The results show that the collaborative governance communication process has led to significant improvements in waste management, marked by better infrastructure, compliance with regulations, and increased trust and understanding between the company, the government, and the community. The communication process in effective collaboration involves face-to-face dialogue, building trust, commitment to the process, sharing understanding, and achieving interim results, according to Ansell and Gash (2008). This study concludes that the communication process in collaborative governance is an effective approach in managing palm oil industrial waste, emphasizing the importance of transparency, accountability, and commitment from all parties involved.
